Thank you so much Anu Prabha...I passed out in 1971...i.am.moved reading all that you have written...
On my last visit to Mumbai i took along my husband on a tour of JBV showed him all my class rooms right from KG till the 11th std ....this was during the vacations and the mamas and mavshis were kind enough to let us in
Thank you, Kishori! I am so glad you got to visit JBV. It’s a school that’s hard to forget, isn’t it?:) Headed to Mumbai in a couple of weeks. Mom still lives around the corner from JBV and I am looking forward to passing JBV again on our morning walks to five gardens!:) Take care.
It was great to read your article. I too passed out in 1969. Had great teachers like Mrs. Tehmi Shroff - the French teacher - Miss Freny Mehta - the Geography teacher and many more whom moulded us to be great human beings.. Thank U Anu Prabhakar for the lovely article on our dear Alma Mater.. Long live J.B.V.. Indeed proud to be an ex-student…
Your article about 100 th anniversary of JB Vachha school was so interesting, it reminded me of my school Fellowship High School near August Kranti maidan, Nana chowk. Your story telling skills are mesmerizing.
Keep writing such fantastic piece of art and information
Hi Shreyas, thank you so much for your kind comment and encouragement. Our school days are so treasured, it’s hard to find anything to replace them!
